An 80°F summer day with an average humidity level can be just fine for a picnic but 80°F and muggy can be unbearable. Whether you are outside or inside, humidity has a great impact on our comfort and overall air quality. The Goodman split system air conditioning with multi-speed ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) controls humidity better than a standard on/off system. Instead of tuning on at full speed and then turning off once the thermostat setting is reached, the ECM-controlled system adjusts its speed to keep the temperature steady. This keeps the room cool and continuously keeps air moisture at bay.

The Goodman GSXH50241 Energy Efficient Base Value, 15.2 SEER2 Performance is loaded with features designed to provide outstanding performance for years to come for lower energy bills compared to lower SEER units. Additionally sound-dampening features help ensure that your cooling system does not interfere with a good night’s sleep. The near-silent operation is owed to the condenser fan system, which includes a three-bladed fan encased in a heavy-gauge galvanized louvered cabinet with noise suppressing features.

AMST30BU14 | Indoor Unit
The Goodman AMST30BU14 Multi-Position, 9-Speed ECM air handler with internal TXV is optimized for single-stage AC and HP outdoor units up to 15.2 SEER2 allows for more precise climate control and eliminates hot and cold spots in rooms that is often experienced with standard on/off units. Instead of simply turning off once the desired temperature is reached, your unit’s blower speed can be reduced to match the cooling or heating needed to maintain the desired temperature.

- 7mm evaporator coil tube size on 1½ - 3½ Ton models and ⅜" evaporator coil tube size on 4 to 5 Ton models
