The heart of the 5 Ton GSXC180481 is the high efficiency Copeland® scroll compressor paired with Goodman’s proprietary SMARTCOIL™. Together they maximize thermal heat transfer ability and reduce the amount of refrigerant needed. Additionally sound-dampening features help ensure that your cooling system doesn’t interfere with a good night’s sleep. The near-silent operation is owed to the condenser fan system, which includes a three-bladed fan encased in a heavy-gauge galvanized louvered cabinet with noise suppressing features.
